Production-spec Tata Curvv EV and ICE Models Revealed Ahead of Launch

Tata Motors has unveiled the production versions of its Curvv coupe SUV, the Tata Curvv and Tata Curvv EV.The Curvv’s design closely resembles existing Tata vehicles, particularly the new Nexon EV,  featuring connected LED DRLs and an all-LED headlight setup on the bumper for both the ICE and EV models. However, the ICE version includes a blacked-out grille, while the EV version has a body-coloured, closed-off grille panel.On the side, the ICE Curvv has petal-shaped dual-tone alloy wheels, whereas the Curvv EV features aerodynamically styled alloy wheels. Both models have flush-type door handles, a first for Tata. At the rear, they share a connected LED tail light setup.Although Tata has not revealed the Curvv and Curvv EV interiors, they are expected to resemble the new Tata Nexon. Feature-wise, both versions are likely to include a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.Safety features will likely include six airbags, a 360-degree camera with a blind view monitor, electronic stability control, and a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).In terms of powertrain, the Curvv ICE is expected to debut with a 1.2-litre T-GDi turbo-petrol engine, along with an option for a 1.5-litre diesel engine later. The Curvv EV may come with two battery pack options, offering an estimated range of around 500 km. Tata has not disclosed the specific battery pack and electric motor details for the Curvv EV.Tata Motors plans to launch the electric Curvv first, likely on August 7, followed by the petrol and diesel versions.
